National Spine Network Privacy Policy
The NSN National Spine Network is committed to protecting your privacy. The information we gather from you will be used solely for the purposes of contact between you and the NSN, its employees, or subcontractors. This information will not be disclosed to third parties without your consent. All employees and sub-contractors of the NSN are bound to this policy by a non-disclosure agreement.
In compliance with applicable HIPAA regulations, patient identification information collected by the individual member sites using the SpineChart program is maintained solely by the individual member sites. If the member site chooses to submit patient outcomes data to the central registry, patient identification information is removed and replaced by an anonymous randomly generated ID number.
